She came from exciting beginnings as a burgeoning songwriter at the age of 14. To build her confidence in the artform, she entered competitions and played her original music at coffee shops. Esi continued to grow in her pursuit and won NAfME Student Songwriter Competition in 2020 for a social justice anthem called “End of The Rope” her junior year of highschool. Her artistic development continued with her selection as an alumna of YoungArts in 2021, reflecting her significant promise and growth as a musician. Now, as a 21-year old, she writes and produces songs in multiple genres for artists, having her most recent cuts by Grace Bowers & The Hodge Podge. She also had the pleasure singing with the band on tour and being the main vocalist on the debut album, Wine on Venus.

Esi's musical endeavors are driven by a profound mission: to restore childlike wonder, celebrate the essence of togetherness, and offer healing to the brokenhearted through her art and beyond it. Her music serves as a medium for personal expression and communal connection, reflecting her commitment to creating meaningful and transformative experiences for all people. As a woman of faith, she believes all music comes from God, and He is meant to be glorified through it.
